Dr Tawanda Matembo is the Managing Director and an inspirational leader with proven success in the banking industry in Zimbabwe. He is a seasoned banker with a rich commercial banking experience spanning over 29 years. Prior to joining Homelink, Tawanda worked for CBZ Bank where he rose through the ranks to become the Divisional Director Retail Banking. Before joining CBZ Bank, he worked for ZB Bank for seven years, in various departments.

Dr Matembo is a proud recipient of the Megafest National Manager of the Year 2017, business award. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Binary University (Malaysia); a Master of Business Administration degree from Nottingham Trent University (United Kingdom), Post graduate diploma & certificate in management from Nottingham Trent University and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe. He is a former board member of Zimswitch Technologies P/L.
